Drum Lessons

Alfreton music school provide top quality drum lessons to students of all ages and all abilities. We have a reputation for providing the highest quality of drum tuition in the Derbyhire and Nottinghamshire areas. All drum Lessons are held at our teaching studio in Riddings.

Drum lessons are on a one-to-one basis and our drum teachers tailor the lessons to individual needs. We do also give the option of having a friend or family member sharing the drum lesson with our students, meaning pupils can enjoy learning together. We cater for all ages so both children and adults are equally welcomed to learn percussion with us.

Whether you prefer traditional music, or contemporary music our drum teachers will get you playing your preferred style. We teach all drum styles including Classical, Pop, Rock, Country and Jazz & Blues.

Drum Lessons are on our top quality Drum kits. Our drum tutors recognise the importance of using a top quality drum kit in lessons for learning correct techniques and getting a good feel and sound from the instrument.

Drum lessons can lead to public performances at one of our music concerts. Exams are also available for anyone wanting to gain a qualification. However, learning to play drums for enjoyment and as a hobby is equally encouraged.
