Examination Boards

Alfreton Music School are affiliated with all the major music exam boards in the UK

Exam Recognition

Alfreton Music School has an impressive 100% pass rate on exams, with many of our students achieving Merits & Distinctions. Our music school has been recognised by the exam boards as achieving some of the best results in the whole country.

As well as gaining a recognised qualification, the higher graded exams in music are also credited with UCAS points, which can be included in university applications.

However, for those not wishing to take exams, learning an instrument for pleasure is equally encouraged.
