Terms & Conditions
1. Lessons fees are payable monthly and are due in advance by the 15th of the preceding month. View our Payment Calendar
2. Our teachers are all self-employed and therefore all lesson fees must be paid directly to your teacher (not to the music school)
3. Any pupils starting lessons part way through the month will be charged at the pro-rata lesson rates for the remainder of that month. In addition to this, the pupil will need to ensure the following months fees are paid in advance
4. If the teacher does not receive your monthly payment by the due date, we will assume you wish to discontinue lessons and will stop your lessons automatically at the end of that month.
5. Pupils can cancel their lessons at any time and no notice period is required. Following cancellation the pupil is entitled to attend all remaining paid lessons. No refunds are given for unused lessons.
6. If the teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson for any reason, the teacher will provide a replacement lesson at no extra charge. If this is not possible the teacher will refund the pupils for the missed lesson at the pro-rata rate
7. If the pupil is unable to attend a lesson for any reason the lesson will be forfeited. In some circumstances, the teacher may be able to make up missed lessons. However, this is totally at the teacher’s discretion, and is limited by the teacher’s availability
8. The music school is closed for 6 weeks of the year, two weeks at Easter, two weeks in Summer and two weeks at Christmas. We only charge for the 46 weeks per year we are open. Lesson fees are averaged out in our monthly fee packages to reflect this. View this year’s Holiday Dates
9. Parents or Guardians are welcome to either drop pupils off and collect them at the end of their lessons, they are equally welcomed to sit in on lessons with pupils however due to the size of the music studio, we restrict this to one person only
10. Please ensure you arrive on time for your lesson. However, do not arrive early as we do not have a waiting room
11. Please respect our neighbours and other pupils by keeping quiet when entering and leaving your lesson
