Guitar Lessons

Alfreton music school provide top quality guitar lessons to students of all ages and all abilities. We have a reputation for providing the highest quality of guitar tuition in the Derbyhire and Nottinghamshire areas. All guitar Lessons are held at our teaching studio in Riddings.

Guitar lessons are on a one-to-one basis and our guitar teachers tailor the lessons to individual needs. We do also give the option of having a friend or family member sharing the guitar lesson with our students, meaning pupils can enjoy learning together. We cater for all ages so both children and adults are equally welcomed to learn guitar with us.

Whether you prefer traditional music, or contemporary music our guitar teachers will get you playing your preferred style. We teach all styles of guitar including Classical, Pop, Rock, Country and Jazz & Blues.

Guitar teachers teach all forms of guitar from traditional acoustic guitar to electric guitar. We also teach classical guitar and bass guitar. Our guitar tutors recognise the importance of learning correct techniques and getting a good feel and sound from the instrument, and this is something our teachers instill right from the first lessons.

Guitar lessons can lead to public performances at one of our guitar concerts. Exams are also available for anyone wanting to gain a qualification. However, learning to play guitar for enjoyment and as a hobby is equally encouraged.
