Noriko Shigimatsu
Noriko is a long established professional musician. She gained a Batchelors Degree in Japan in 1982 and has been teaching ever since. With almost 40 years of teaching experience Noriko has gained many skills in Music tuition that she can utilise with her students.
Over the duration of her career, Noriko has gained a wealth of experience in both the performing and teaching of music. She is a member of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA), and is a fully qualified teacher. She also holds a Cert PTC (piano teaching certificate) which she studied for at the world famous Purcell School of Music.
Noriko's skills cover a vast range and she is able to teach anything from graded music exams, GCSE music & A level music right up to Diploma & Degree level music. Noriko specialises in Piano, however she is a skilled instrumentalist and also plays violin. Noriko is a multi-linguist and can conduct lessons in Japanese as well as English.
Noriko is a professional of the highest standard and she prides herself on her ability to engage and to motivate students of all standards and ages during lessons, ensuring that learning music is an enjoyable activity.
