Ramona Chan

Ramona is a graduate of the Guildhall school of music in London. Having specialised in woodwind instruments, she then went on to complete a PGCE in music at Birmingham University. Now a fully qualified teacher Ramona spends her time teaching in local schools in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas.

Ramona has an interest in all styles of music from classical to jazz. However she does have a personal passion for jazz as she loves jamming with fellow musicians and jazz gives all instrumentalists the chance to express themselves.

Ramona regularly plays at local music venues with a couple of friends and can often be found playing at a venue or club on a weekend.

Ramonas passion for music and playing is something she likes to pass on to her students. She believes music can fill your heart with joy, music also provides students with an enjoyable activity, that can bring happiness even on the darkest of days.
