Ukulele Lessons

Alfreton music school provide top quality ukulele lessons to students of all ages and all abilities. We have a reputation for providing the highest quality of ukulele tuition in the Derbyhire and Nottinghamshire areas. All ukulele Lessons are held at our teaching studio in Riddings.

Ukulele lessons are on a one-to-one basis and our ukulele teachers tailor the lessons to individual needs. We do also give the option of having a friend or family member sharing the ukulele lesson with our students, meaning pupils can enjoy learning together. We cater for all ages so both children and adults are equally welcomed to learn ukulele with us.

Whether you prefer traditional music, or contemporary music our ukulele teachers will get you playing your preferred style. We teach all music styles including Classical, Pop, Rock, Country and Jazz & Blues.

Ukulele's are relatively cheap to purchase and therefore a great instrument to take up. Our ukulele tutors recognise the importance of using a good quality instrument for learning correct techniques and getting a good feel and sound from the instrument. Our ukulele teachers will be able to advise on the best instrument to purchase.

Ukulele lessons can lead to public performances at one of our music concerts. Exams are also available for anyone wanting to gain a qualification. However, learning to play ukulele for enjoyment and as a hobby is equally encouraged.
